About Us

On this page you are able to learn a little about us and to see the main employees of my business. They are very dear to us. They are true, loving companions.

Our Business Philosophy

Our philosophy is that our dogs are a part of our family. They live in my house, give birth in my living room and raise their young in my dining room. They are spoiled with love and affection, toys, treats and good care.

Heads-n-Tails

Heads-n-Tails is a small family business that was started with our first litter in 1995. I now only raise AKC Yorkie puppies. I started out raising Silky Terriers. I had such a hard time finding a Silky Terrier( it took me over 1 year) that we decided to raise them so others could have the joy of being owned by their own Silky Terrier. I then starting raising AKC Yorkies and now that is all I raise with the two I have now - Lady and Gizmo. We have never sold a puppy to a broker. Each one of our puppies has been personally delivered to a loving family.
Since the 9-11 attack - I have found it too hard to hand deliver the puppies to their new families - so I am now just shipping the puppies and not hand delivering them. I always enjoy seeing the happy faces as they meet their new puppy!!! I will miss that with the puppies I ship but will still have that joy when people meet me to pick up their new puppy.

Our Employees

We are a family owned business - thus our employees are my family. That includes my 3 grandsons (3YR, 7YRS and 11YRS), AKC Yorkies - Lady and Gizmo.

HEALTH GUARANTEE
We offer a 5-day guarantee on any sickness, provided buyer has puppy inspected by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of delivery, and we offer a 1 year guarantee on any hereditary health problem. In such an event, buyer shall provide seller with written explanation from a licensed veterinarian as to the nature of the problem. We then need a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice. If the problem proves to be genetic, we will replace the dog , or reimburse the buyer for medical costs up to the purchase price of the dog (after the AKC papers have been returned to me). This guarantee is valid only if proof that the puppy was examined by a liscenced veterinarian within 3 days of delivery of the puppy. If this puppy is transfered to another owner - the guarnantee is voided.
