The Yorkshire Terrier is a glamorous little dog. They are a non-shedding breed. They do not shed any more than a person does. Being a small breed, my adults weigh about 3 - 4.5 lbs. They are raised in my home with love and care. They are my family!!!

AKC registered Yorkie Terrier puppies are available for $800 and up.

Stud service is available to Yorkie females that live in the Omaha, Ne. or the Kansas City, Mo. or the Des Moines, Ia areas. I am now located in Omaha, NE. so there is easy access to these areas.

I now only raise AKC Yorkie babies and have for over 15 years. I started out raising Silky Terriers - I fell in love with the Silky Terrier over 20 years ago. I had hunted for about 1 year before that for them. I love the Yorkies - the long silky hair and the fact that they did not shed (boy is that a relief - I don't have to worry when I wear dark clothes). The Yorkie is such a loving companion. They love to be near you. They love to play ball or play tug with a toy - yet they can just lay beside you and be happy with your petting or the nearness of your body and voice. They are a very intelligent dog and you will believe that the Yorkie knows exactly what you are saying. Being a small dog it does not require a lot of walking outside - although they do like the outdoors - they can receive exercise with toys inside the home. Brushing and nail clipping is the only grooming requirements. The hair does not need to be trimmed unless you wish to show them at dog shows or you like the look and the ease of hair care with the shorter hair.
